2025 rounded up with the completion of an outdoor kitchen for a client near Driffield. We were contacted via our website and later commissioned to manufacture and install this oak 6m x 3m outdoor kitchen frame. The client is completing the roof with black galvanised corrugated sheeting to keep a sleek yet agricultural look allowing it to blend smoothly in with surrounding buildings.

Throughout 2025 we manufactured and installed an interesting range of bespoke structures. Porches, garages, trusses to name a few and predominately out of oak but also a beauty of a cart shed and store, manufactured in our workshop in Pickering out of locally milled Douglas fir from just up the road at Grange Farm Timber in Rosedale, then erected in the village of Cropton right on the edge of the North York Moors!

We don’t always get to see the final finish on the projects we’re involved in as they’re often part of a bigger project or other trades have their part to play in the overall plan of works.

This particular project in Pocklington we were just a small piece of the jigsaw, adding our oak frame to this relatively new building which had undergone a vast transformation to its south elevation. We will no doubt call in to see the finished article when we’re next in the area and perhaps it may get its own blog post!
